Our Story

Fair rates for everyone

The story of Keytext began in 2014 when its founder, David Howard, grew tired of large translation agencies offering rock-bottom rates of pay to skilled, professional linguists.

With many freelance translators struggling to make a living, he set out to demonstrate that you could still pay fair rates and be profitable without charging a premium.

We pay our writers, translators and editors 80% of the fee, which we believe is not only fair, but also means we attract the most talented people in the industry.

With a different, more collaborative business model in place, Keytext now provides quality translation, transcreation, writing and editing services in over thirty languages.

Our aim is to enable clients to communicate effectively with their target audience, crafting texts that lead people to take action, wherever they may be.

So, if you need accurate, eloquent and timely writing or translation services, and want to know that the people doing the work aren’t getting a raw deal, let’s talk.
